On top of the technical aspect, the workshop will also help you to understand the think flow in preparing for not only the executive summary but your business idea at large. This Executive Summary workshop aims at guiding a person on how to write an effective business plan and propel ones idea through practical aspects of writing an effective executive summary that will catch the attention of an investor to fund the business. It also delves into the depth of enpreneurship and basics of venture investing. Answering questions such as:
- How do we raise funds from investors in a difficult economic market?
- What are the essential ingredients of a meaningful business plan?
- How do we capture the essence of a business plan in a crisp executive summary?
- What is entrepreneurship?
- What is the purpose of innovation?
- How can we translate innovation from bench to bedside with the help of experienced entrepreneurs.
- What is the most fundamental requirement in starting up a venture?

The Executive Summary workshops will be facilitated by Mr Anand Govindaluri, a veteran investor in healthcare and technology companies globally. Mr Anand Govindaluri worked for Temasek Holdings for 8 years during which he financed several healthcare and technology companies in Singapore and globally. He serves on the Innovation Advisory Board for Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology, and is a member of the Board of Directors for Curiox Biosystems Inc and BuzzCity. In addition, Anand is a regular speaker at various investor conferences, judge for business plan competitions locally and also a proponent of social innovation & entrepreneurship.
